St John's College Library

To develop information-literate students who realise their full potential

The new St John’s College Library opened in 2012.

The environment supports a learning commons approach.

The library is:

  • An extension of the classroom
  • A place for students to read and study
  • A meeting room
  • A place for Liturgy

The library provides a wide range of quality resources that support student learning and the special Marist Catholic character of the school in preparing our young men for life.

ICT is an integral part of the library.

  • Students may access the library resources from anywhere via Access-It
  • Desktops, laptops, a photocopier and printer are available for student use
  • Links to useful websites are provided: WorldbookEPICTe Ara and Any Questions

The library is an information-rich learning centre with a strong focus on encouraging our students to actively use the library to support learning and personal interests, and value reading as a skill for life.

The library is open 8:15am - 3:45pm Monday to Friday.

Our Librarian is Mrs Lynley Keightley
