Preparing Young Men for Life

St John's College has 750 boys from Year 9 to Year 13, and is located on Hillcrest Road, Hamilton. Built on the Marist tradition, it emphasises family spirit, promoting an environment where students are well looked after. Staff and students form a community where they can support each other on a daily basis.


Queen's Birthday

Monday is Queen's Birthday Holiday.

There is no rugby, other than the 1st XV playing at school at 12:00.

Football only has some knock-out games, including the 1st XI playing at school at 8:30.


Board of Trustees’ Election

Nominations are invited for the election of five parent representatives to the board of trustees. Nomination forms have been sent home or additional forms can be obtained from the school office.  

Nominations close at noon on Friday 20 May and may be accompanied by signed candidates’ statements.

The voting roll is open for inspection at the school and can be viewed during normal school hours. There will also be a list of candidates’ names, as they come to hand, for inspection at the school.

Voting has been extended to close at noon on Friday 10 June.


Marcellin Champagnat Day

MC Day is Tuesday, 7 June 2016 and will start with whole school Mass. More details are here.
