Every student has the responsibility to represent himself, his family and his College well by being correctly and tidily dressed at all times, especially in public when travelling to and from College.
The College will help any student who, for financial reasons, cannot obtain the correct uniform. Deans will help with this, or email [email protected]
We also operate an online Second Hand Uniform service, and are enormously grateful to the lovely parent who coordinates this.
The daily uniform is supplied exclusively by NZ Uniforms, corner Tristram Street & Rostrevor St or you can purchase online. NZ Uniforms also operate a Uniform Club service where you are able to “bank” money on a card at whatever frequency you choose and then purchase uniform with the credit balance. Apply in store.
Sports Uniform is supplied separately - see here for more information.
The only hat permitted is the St John’s College cap or bucket hat.
The College jacket may be worn during school hours and is the only jacket to be worn with the College uniform.
Students can hire Blazers from the Student Services Centre at the College ($100 per year, includes Bond of $50). Blazers can also be purchased from NZ Uniforms.
