Enrolment

Welcome to Saint John’s College.  We have much to offer students who are seeking top quality education, sporting and cultural experiences.

Applications for Year 9 enrolments were due on 6 July 2018. Applications received after then will be placed on a waiting list. It is unlikely that the College will offer any places for 'non-preference' students in 2019's Year 9 intake.

Our roll has been full for the last three years. Parents are advised to enrol students early to avoid disappointment. For all enquiries about enrolment please email the Principal's Personal Assistant, Mrs Celia Jowsey or call (07) 856 7091.

Preference

St John's College is a State Integrated Catholic School, and as a result gives preference to Catholic boys.

There are five criteria under which a student can gain preference status to a Catholic school, with a recently signed "Preference Card".

Details are on the Enrolment Policy page

Non-Preference

To enrol as a non-preference student please return your Enrolment Contract and a covering letter explaining your reasons for enrolment at Saint John’s College.  Non-preference students will go onto a waiting list.  When a position is offered, final acceptance will be confirmed on receipt of full payment of the year’s costs.  It is expected that the annual cost will be paid by 1st February each year that your son is enrolled at St John’s College.

Overseas (Fee-paying)

The College has approximately 30 overseas students each year.
