Parents who are not active Catholics should read the information on applying for Preference carefully before beginning the process.

Preference Students
Final acceptance of a place at St John's College will be confirmed upon receipt of a $200 deposit. This will contribute towards your costs. See the Fees page for more details.

If a position is offered, final acceptance will be confirmed on receipt of full payment of the year's costs by the end of September.

Information Evening

An information evening for all 2019 prospective students and their families will be held Tuesday 15th May at 6pm in the school gymnasium.   The evening will provide information on the enrolment process, opportunities to meet with and speak to teaching staff and a tour of the College grounds.


Enrolment Timetable

Term 2

Staff from the College visit each primary and intermediate school and information sheets and enrolment packages are distributed. All enrolments are due by the end of Term 2 each year.

Term 3

All Preference students who have returned an enrolment form are invited to a short interview at the College. This enables the College to meet students and parents and to discuss their enrolment at the College. Offers of a place to Non Preference students will be made during the first week in September. 


All Year 9 students for 2019 are invited to spend an Orientation Day at the College. They will meet staff and present students and visit classes and learn about their early days in 2019.
