Held at Porritt Stadium on Saturday 10 April, Amilame excelled in his signature hurdles event. With winning times of 14.78s (110) and 38.87s (330M), Amilame saw off all other senior competitors - a huge achievement which surely marks him as a talent at NZ level. He also finalled in the Senior 100M, placing 8th, but remembering that many of those other sprinters would have been quite a bit fresher than him.
There were other notable SJC performances on the day, and we're just plain proud of all those athletes who competed at this very high level.
