We’re looking forward to welcoming in our new students and their whānau to St John’s College and welcoming back our current students after the summer holidays.
DATES
Wednesday, 25 January 11 am to 2 pm | Second-Hand uniform shop open in the SJC Atrium. The PTFA will be open for sales today. |
Tuesday, 31 January 1 pm to 3 pm | Tuakana Training for selected Year12 students in the Library. Please wear your uniform and have a haircut for school. |
Wednesday, 1 February 8.25 am | 1st Day of Year 9 Induction and welcome to St John’s College. The powhiri for students and their whānau will start at 8.55. Please assemble in the pillar garden next to the car park. Plan extra time for parking - you will likely need to find space on the surrounding roads. Students, please bring togs, a towel, a drink bottle, a hat and sunscreen, your lunch, and a pen. No devices needed. |
Thursday, 2nd February 8.30 am | Day 2 of Year 9 Induction - students only. Meet at the oak tree. No devices are needed. |
Friday 3rd February - 8.45 am | ALL students - normal timetable begins. |

| New Uniforms | Purchase from NZ Uniforms Hamilton. You can now easily book a fitting appointment online! Note: The new reversible PE/House shirts will be available for purchase in January. New students will be assigned their Houses in January as well.Pasifika Uniforms can be purchased at school. |
| 2nd Hand Uniforms | The PTFA will organise a second hand uniform sale on Wednesday, 25 January 2023 in the school’s Atrium. |
| STATIONERY | You can purchase stationery or download the stationery list online via OfficeMax MySchool. Delivery is free for purchases over $60, but allow at least 5 business days for delivery. Please note that orders should be completed once timetables are known and sent out mid January. |
