The Marcellin Centre was awarded Silver in the NZ Commercial Projects Awards held in Auckland over the weekend. This competition celebrates the very best of commercial building in the country, and we congratulate Waikato Construction Management Ltd (trading as Coresteel) for recognition of their superb work in completing the Marcellin Centre to such a high standard.

We've been using the Marcellin Centre for nearly 18 months now, and couldn't feel prouder about the quality of our sporting complex. We owe a huge debt of thanks to many people who supported the College in 'reaching for the stars' on this build. 

To Bishop Steve and his Diocese team, who contracted and managed the build with WCML, thank you for supporting our aspirations. To Board members of the past five - ten years, thank you for your unwavering commitment and drive to lift the bar. Thank you to the major donors who stepped in to pay for major features like the bleachers and hoop systems - the Foundation donors and our Old Boys community, who collectively contributed over $80,000; the Grassroots Trust, a major donor; the Lion Foundation and Trust Waikato.

And thank you very much to the parents past and present who contributed to the Building Donation during your son's time with us. The Building Fund allows us to build bigger and better, and we could not have achieved the Marcellin Centre without the support of our whole community.
